I live next to the river valley and there is something new to see every day (and night). At this time of year, besides a few rabbits and smaller birds, the crows and ravens are pretty much the most common creature to observe. One day I might have to paint them fighting over a crust of bread, but how to paint that obvious sense of triumph the victor feels as he wings away with the prize clutched greedily in his beak?
